Can I still use my Student Account once I’m in college?

Your CaliforniaColleges.edu account doesn’t expire. You can keep using it after you graduate high school, as long as you have added a secondary email to your account. If you had an account in high school, you can continue to sign in and use My Plan.

As a college student, you can use CaliforniaColleges.edu to guide your thinking on all kinds of topics.

  • College programs and majors.
  • Financial aid.
  • Transferring schools (e.g. from a community college to a four-year college).
  • Career planning.

Click CollegeCareer, or Financial Aid links in the top menu once you’ve logged into CaliforniaColleges.edu to learn more about what’s important to you.  Use search tools to find college, major, and career matches.

If you are currently a high school student and would like to ensure that you can access your CaliforniaColleges.edu account after graduation, we encourage you to add your personal email as your secondary email account. For guidance on how to add a secondary email account, please see our How to Add a Second Email to Your Student Account tutorial.
