Learn about the latest updates to CaliforniaColleges.edu! This session will cover enhancements made to the platform in advance of the academic year and those that you may have missed that went live during the spring. Join us to explore the newest features and improvements, including:
- Financial Aid Applications: Educator report enhancements based on an updated integration with CSAC
- Career: Enhanced Career Search Tool and New Career Reports, with an emphasis on California CTE Sectors and Pathways
- College Eligibility: New educator reports designed to help educators support college readiness and A-G eligibility
- Educator Support: New on-demand training videos and an enhanced Resource Hub to enable educators to learn about the platform at their own pace

Tools to Drive College and Financial Aid Application Completion
This session provides educators with an in-depth walkthrough of how to leverage the student and educator tools available on CaliforniaColleges.edu to help students complete and submit their college and financial aid applications. The session will cover the steps to help students launch and import courses as well as guide educators on how to leverage reports for tiered supports and targeted interventions. Join us to explore the college and financial aid tools and reports, including:
- Course and grade migration to Cal State Apply and the UC Application
- College application launching and tracking
- FAFSA/CADAA application launching and tracking
- Educator reporting tools that can be leveraged to provide targeted intervention and improve application completion
Financial Aid Tools
This session provides educators with a comprehensive training on the Financial Aid Tools available on CaliforniaColleges.edu, which are designed to help students learn about, apply for, and complete their financial aid applications and to help educators track students’ applications and lesson completion. This session covers:
- Financial Aid Lessons
- FAFSA/CADAA application launching and tracking
- Educator reporting tools that can be leveraged to provide targeted intervention and improve application completion
College Access Staff: College and Financial Aid Applications
This session is intended for college access staff (Cal-SOAP, TRIO, higher ed outreach programs, etc.) to gain a foundational understanding of the student-facing college and financial aid integrations on CaliforniaColleges.edu. College access staff who work with partner schools and districts will learn how they can support students to use CaliforniaColleges.edu for the application process. This session covers:
- Course and grade migration to Cal State Apply and the UC Application
- CCC, CSU and UC application launching and tracking
- FAFSA/CADAA application launching and tracking

Attendees will learn best practices and implementation tips from presenters who have used the Career Exploration tools on CaliforniaColleges.edu at their sites and then have the opportunity to share and hear ideas with other educators from across the state to implement these tools. This is a great opportunity for educators to learn about best and promising practices that you can take back to your own sites as you plan for the next academic year!

- College, Major, and Programs Search
- Educator Reporting tools that can be leveraged to provide targeted programming support and monitor student participation
Spring planning
Spring Planning for 9th and 10th Grade
This session is designed to help educators use the tools on CaliforniaColleges.edu this spring to sequence college and career readiness work for 9th and 10th grade students, with an emphasis on career exploration and early A-G preparation. This session covers:
- CSU and UC A-G Eligibility Tools for early intervention
- Academic Planner
- Career Assessments
- College/Career/Major Search Tools
Spring Planning for 11th and 12th Grade
This session is designed to help educators use the tools on CaliforniaColleges.edu this spring to prepare 11th graders for the college and financial aid application season in the fall and provide 12th graders with resources as they graduate. This session covers:
- Financial Aid Lessons
- Career Assessments for college and career decision-making
- CSU and UC A-G Eligibility Tools for summer school planning (to support increased A-G eligibility in the fall)
- A checklist for graduating seniors (adding a secondary email for future platform access, using My Experiences for resume-building, etc.)
