My Goals, Journals, Experiences, and Documents Toolkit

This toolkit can help you share information with your students, district, or community about the My Goals, Journal, Experiences, and Documents tools on CaliforniaColleges.edu.

About the Tools

My Plan helps students organize their thoughts, track steps, and develop a clear plan for the future. Under each students’ My Plan, they’ll find a host of tools that will make college and career planning as easy as 1-2-3, including:

  • My Goals, which helps students stay on track by allowing them to identify, set, and monitor their academic, college, and career goals;
  • My Journal, which allows students to reflect about their past, make connections to their present, and plan for their future;
  • My Experiences, which allows students to keep track of their strengths, what they like, what they don’t like, and experiences to help them build their future resume for internships and other opportunities; and
  • My Documents, which gives students free storage space to save important college, career, and financial aid documents such as college essay drafts, letters of recommendation, award letters, and others.

Below, we’ve developed materials that you can copy or download to get the word out in your district.
