How do the College and Career Lessons differ from the Financial Aid Lessons?

The new College and Career Lessons are consistent with the Financial Aid Lessons and user experience, with a few key differences. With the new College and Career Lessons, educators and parents can now see more, including the:

  • Global “To Do” icon
  • College Checklist (12th grade only)
  • Gear icon that, when clicked, can show all lessons or filter for lessons at the student’s specific grade level
  • Expanded modules that show each lesson along with their associated To Do’s, resources, and status

The Financial Aid Lessons do not allow the same level of transparency as the College and Career Lessons because lessons are customized based on whether the student is completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
