My Plan Educator Toolkit
This toolkit can help you share information with your students, district, or community about My Plan on CaliforniaColleges.edu.
About My Plan
We encourage you to remind students and parents about the college and career planning tools available on each student’s My Plan – specifically, My Goals, My Journal, My Experiences, and My Documents.
My Plan helps students organize their thoughts, track steps, and develop a clear plan for the future. Under each student’s My Plan, they’ll find a host of tools that will make college and career planning as easy as 1-2-3, including:
- My Goals, which helps students stay on track by allowing them to identify, set, and monitor their academic, college, and career goals;
- My Journal, which allows students to reflect about their past, make connections to their present, and plan for their future;
- My Experiences, which allows students to keep track of their strengths, what they like, what they don’t like, and how their experiences can help them prepare for their future; and
- My Documents, which gives students free storage space to save important college, career, and financial aid documents such as college essay drafts, letters of recommendation, award letters, and others.
Below, we’ve developed materials that you can copy or download to get the word out in your district.
Template Emails
