With college application season approaching, the Career, College, and Major Search Tools can help you get your students excited about exploring their postsecondary options!

  • The Career Search Tool on CaliforniaColleges.edu helps students find the right career path by allowing them to explore careers that match their interests, learn what they involve, see what kind of pay and growth potential they offer, and understand what education and skills they will need to pursue them. Check out the Career Search Tool tutorial to see it in action.

Additionally, as an educator, you have access to reporting tools that can help you track your students’ usage of the College, Career, and Major Search Tools. To access the reporting tools, sign into CaliforniaColleges.edu and select Report Management from your Educator Dashboard. You can run the following reports to see student activities related to the Career, College, and Major Search Tools:

Report Category: College

  • Which students have favorited (❤) at least one major?
  • Which students have favorited (❤) at least one college?
  • Which colleges have students favorited (❤)?
  • Which majors have students favorited (❤)?
  • Which colleges have been favorited (❤), by Institution Type?

Report Category: Career

  • Which students have favorited (❤) at least one career?
  • Which careers have students favorited (❤)?
