Course Management Portal (CMP) Overview

This session is designed to help educators leverage the reporting tools on CaliforniaColleges.edu to maintain CMP match rates and address a-g course list misalignment during the UCOP Primary Phase: February 1 – June 30. This ensures that all of your eligible students receive the appropriate credit for their coursework in CSU and UC applications for the upcoming Fall 2026 application cycle. We strongly recommend this session for educators who manage the CMP list for their district/school site. The session covers:

  • How our CSU and UC Eligibility Tools interact with the CMP (including dual-enrollment and special cases)
  • How to identify CMP mismatches using CaliforniaColleges.edu reporting tools
  • How to fix CMP mismatches on your district’s/school site’s CMP list

Spring Spotlight: Lesson Plans for Guiding Student Groups

This session is designed for educators (AVID educators, teachers, counselors, etc.) who are interested in learning more about adaptable resources to lead students through using the individual tools of CaliforniaColleges.edu in the classroom or in any group setting with students. The session will cover:

  • Educator-led lesson plans and students worksheets that lead students through the college, career and financial aid tools
  • Ideas and tips for leading lessons and customizing them based on the group setting and your students’ needs
